Augusto Miranda da Paz Jr. Board Member
Mr. Miranda has been CEO of Equatorial Energia since 2015. He was CEO of CEMAR, in the energy and society sector under common control with the Company, since April 2010. Summary of main professional experiences in the last 5 years: From 2007 to 2010 , was Vice-President of Operations and, previously, was Director of Engineering at CEMAR since July 2004. Mr. Miranda is an experienced executive with over 32 years in the electricity sector, of which over 17 years with the Company. Before joining CEMAR, Mr. Miranda held several positions in the areas of electrical system maintenance management at COELBA, in the energy sector, and was also a representative of COELBA at CCON. Mr. Miranda is an electrical engineer graduated from the Federal University of Bahia, with a specialization in Maintenance Management promoted by Eletrobrás in agreement with PUC/RJ and the Federal School of Engineering of Itajubá/MG and an MBA in management of electrical energy companies by FGV/SP.
Leonardo Da Silva Lucas Tavares de Lima Board Member
Leonardo da Silva Lucas Tavares de Lima, Director – Mr. Leonardo was elected Director of Equatorial Pará in November 2012, having also served as Director of Equatorial Maranhão between April 2011 and October 2012. Previously, he was Controller of Equatorial Maranhão ( role he held from 2007 until April 2011) and Planning and Management Coordinator (from 2005 to 2007). Before joining Equatorial Maranhão, Leonardo worked at Telemar Norte Leste, ABN Amro, URB – Empresa de Urbanização do Recife and Shell Brasil. Graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Pernambuco, with a postgraduate degree in Production Management and an MBA in Electric Energy Business Management, from FGV.
Carlos Augusto Leoni Piani Board Member
Mr. Leonardo was elected Investor Relations Director at CELPA in November 2012 and remained in the position until January 2014, when he became Financial and Administrative Director. Mr. Leonardo was also Director of CEMAR from April 2011 to October 2012. Previously he was controller of CEMAR (a role he held from 2007 to April 2011) and Planning and Management Coordinator (from 2005 to 2007). Before joining CEMAR, Mr. Leonardo worked at Telemar Norte Leste, in the telephone sector, ABN Amro, in the banking sector, URB – Empresa de Urbanização do Recife, in the urbanization sector, and at Shell Brasil, in the oil sector. Mr. Leonardo is an executive with more than 21 years of experience, of which more than 16 years with the Company. Graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Pernambuco, with a postgraduate degree in Production Management and an MBA in Electric Energy Business Management, from FGV. In August 2016 he was elected Director of CEMAR. He has been the Company’s Investor Relations Director since 2019.
David Abdalla Pires Leal Board Member
Mr David has a degree in Law from Universidade CEUMA 2007 with an MBA in Civil and Civil Procedural Law from FGV 2010 has a master’s degree in Law and Institutions of the Justice System with an emphasis on Regulation from UFMA 2017 participated in the PDE Executive Development program, from FDC 2019 He is currently the fiscal councilor of the Equatorial Energia Fundação de Previdência EQTPREV since 2019. In addition, he holds the position of Curator of the Fundação Força e Luz, since 2022 University professor in Business Law 2013 2015 and in Constitutional Tax Law and Tax Process 2019 2021. He has worked at various levels in the legal management of Equatorial Maranhão since 2008 as Litigation and High Impact Legal Leader 2011 2012 Legal Executive 2012 2016 and holds the position of legal manager since 2016. Equatorial Maranhão is part of the Company’s economic group.
Tinn Freire Amado Board Member
Mr. Tinn Freire Amado is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the following companies of the Equatorial Group: (i) Echoenergia, (ii) CSA – Concessionária de Saneamento do Amapá, (iii) Equatorial Serviços, (iv) CEA – Companhia de Eletricidade from Amapá. Between May 2022 and early January 2024, he was Chief Executive Officer of Echoenergia, the Generation and Commercialization arm of the Equatorial Group. Additionally, in other Equatorial Group companies, Mr. Amado was Director of Regulatory Affairs, between July 2006 and April 2022 and Director of Strategy, New Business and M&A, between May 2016 and April 2022. Mr. Amado He has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal School of Engineering of Itajubá, with a master’s degree in Economics of Regulation and Competition Defense from the University of Brasília. He also served as coordinator of the team responsible for readjusting and reviewing usage tariffs for electrical energy distribution systems of the Superintendence for Regulation of Distribution Services of the National Electric Energy Agency-ANEEL. He also worked as a regulatory specialist at CPFL Energia. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal School of Engineering of Itajubá, with a master’s degree in Economics of Regulation and Competition Defense from UNB.

Riberto José Barbanera Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Riberto is graduated in Electrical Engineer, Faculdade de Engenharia de São Paulo, with MBAs in Business Management, by the Instituto Brasileiro de Mercado de Capitais; in Project Management, by the FGV, São Paulo; in Human Resources Management, by the UNAERP; and MBA Executiv by the Fundação Dom Cabral. He has gattered forty years of professional experience in the brazilian electricity sector, working in construction, operation, maintenance, technical and comercial services management, as a manager and leader of specialized and multidisciplinary teams in conducting customer service processes, as well as in budget management of companies.

Leonardo Lucas Tavares de Lima, Director – Mr. Leonardo was elected Equatorial Pará Investor Relations Officer in November 2012 and remained in the position until January 2014, when he became Company Director. Mr. Leonardo was also Director of CEMAR from April 2011 to October 2012. Previously, he was Equatorial Maranhão Controller (position he held from 2007 to April 2011) and Coordinator of Planning and Management (from 2005 to 2007). Prior to joining Equatorial Maranhão, Mr. Leonardo worked at Telemar Norte Leste, ABN Amro, URB – Recife Urbanization Company and Shell Brasil. Graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Pernambuco, with postgraduate in Production Management and MBA in Business Management of Electric Energy, by FGV(Fundação Getúlio Vargas).
Cristiano de Lima Logrado Officer
Mr. Logrado, Mechanical Engineer, 48 years old, has been working in the Equatorial Energia group since Jan/2007 (15 years), having held the positions of Regulatory Affairs Manager at CEMAR (currently Equatorial Maranhão), Corporate Regulatory Affairs Manager, and Regulation Superintendent. The responsibilities, as superintendent, encompassed all the distributors of the group, the transmission segment and the new line of action in sanitation.
During 2006, he was technical advisor for Abraceel (Brazilian Association of Electric Energy Trading Agents). In the period Jul/2002 to Jan/2005 he worked in the Superintendence for Regulation of Electricity Commercialization – SRC of ANEEL.
Academic training began with a degree in Eng. Mechanics, followed by a master’s degree in Eng. Mechanics focusing on technical and economic analysis of generation systems based on gas turbines and combined cycles. Subsequently, there was a complementation in the form of a specialization course in the financial area (MBA in Financial Administration and Capital Markets – FGV Brasília), and more recently a new MBA (IDP, Brasília, conclusion in Jul/2022), now in the area of Data Science.
Humberto Luis Queiroz Nogueira Officer
Humberto Luis Queiroz Nogueira, Executive Officer – Mr. Nogueira was appointed Equatorial Maranhão Execuive Officer in August, 2016 and Equatorial‘s in August, 2017. Has been working within the Group since 2005, where he managed the Logistic and Suppliers Departament of Equatorial, and the Operations and SAP Project of Equatorial Maranhão. Before entering the group, Mr. Nogueira worked at Oi/Telemar from 1987 until 2005. Graduated by UNIFACS.
José Silva Sobral Neto Officer
José Silva Sobral Neto, Board Member – Graduted in Law by UFMA, specialization in Tax Law by UNAMA, MBA by FGV/Rio in Electric Energy Business Administration and Post Grad MBA in Tax Law by FGV/Isan. Has been working at Equatorial Maranhão since 2005, as Judicial Coordinator and since 2007 is the head for the Judicial Department. Since 2013, is also responsible by the corporate and tax departments within Celpa’s Law Deparment. Former Vice-President of the Lawyers Society at OAB-MA. Acts as manager within Fascemar and is certified by ICSS.
Bruno Cavalcanti Coelho Officer
Mr. Bruno Coelho stands out for his solid experience in the area and in recent years he played several roles in the People Management structure at the Neoenergia Group, where he worked from 2006 to 2021, having held the position of Director of Human Resources and H&S between 2019 and 2021. Graduated in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Pernambuco – UNICAP, has an Executive Business MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral – FDC and in Management Business by CEDEPE.

Maurício Alvares da Silva Veloso Ferreira Officer
Mr. Ferreira is an electrical engineer graduated from Universidade de Brasília with specialization in Financial Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV and specialization in Telecommunications from Universidade de Brasília. He also has a postgraduate degree (MBA) in Business Management from Fundação Dom Cabral. Before joining the group, he was working at Oi S.A. as a Director. From 2015 to March 2017, he worked as commercial director at CEB Distribuição SA and from March 2017 to January 2019, as general director. From 2012 to 2015, he was an Officer at Indra SA From 2010 to 2012, worked at Contax SA From 2003 to 2010 worked at Brasil Telecom SA From 2001 to 2002 worked at Telemar SA From 1998 to 1999, worked at Telebrasília Celular SA From 1994 to 1997 , worked Telecomunicações Brasileiras SA – TELEBRAS
